After-School Care— Mrs. Meisha Dressler
Ms. Meisha was born and raised in rural Eastern Oregon. She moved to Portland in 2010, where she met her husband. Together, they were introduced to the Orthodox Church, baptized and chrismated at The Church of the Annunciation in Milwaukie, OR in 2017. They were married the following year.
Meisha has been passionate and drawn to childcare and the education of children for over 25 years. Her mother ran an in-home daycare center and after graduating high school, Meisha became her assistant daycare provider, while also pursuing certification in massage therapy, a field she worked in for 6 years, while also continuing work as a caregiver, childcare provider, and nanny.
God guided her to Agia Sophia in the spring of 2024, during a time when they were in need of an after-care teacher and substitute. She is also employed as a caregiver for the elderly.
In addition to loving her work, Meisha enjoys: spending time with her family, doing arts & crafts with her nieces & nephews, sewing, knitting, cooking, travelling, camping, and spending time outside with her chickens.
