Anna feels privileged to have been a member of the ASA Board of Directors since 2019. She is currently
serving as the School Board Secretary. Anna was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, and is a lifelong
member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral. She has been an active member of the Holy Trinity
community, most notably instructing Greek Folk Dance to youth of all ages from preschool through
college-age students for 16 years. Anna is a retired pharmacist who worked for the OHSU Department of
Pharmacy for over 40 years.

Anna has two grandsons who are currently students at ASA. She is so thankful that there is an Orthodox
school in the Portland area that teaches her grandsons the Orthodox faith and values in addition to
providing high-quality academics in a small classroom environment. She has seen tremendous growth in
her older grandson who has been in the Montessori program at ASA for three years. She is confident
that he and his younger brother, who started attending ASA this year, will keep blossoming as they
continue their education at ASA.
