Mrs. Christine Otto
A Texas native, Christine Otto earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from University of Arizona and a Masters degree from UTexas before deciding that her heart really belonged in education. Since then, for the last twenty years, Christine has served as a classroom teacher, building administrator, and is now, a district level administrator for a local Portland district.
Christine believes that having Agia Sophia Academy, a school that encourages and nourishes Orthodox spirituality, is a true blessing for Orthodox families in the Portland area. Growing up Orthodox, her family’s only education option was the local Catholic school. She wishes that there had been an ASA for her and her family, which is why she is committed to supporting our school.
When not working Christine and her husband, Jerry love to travel, spend time with their cat and do, and occasionally run half marathons. Christine attends Holy Trinity GOC in Portland..
Mr. Scott Taylor

Mrs. Constanta Gilmore
Constanta is the mother of two ASA students. When asked what she loves most about ASA, Constanta said, “We love that ASA has offered a great environment for our children to grow and be challenged in academics, art, languages, PE, empathy, and faith. We truly appreciate how their teachers are strong but nurturing and keep in contact with us.” When asked what she hopes to bring to the Board, Constanta offered, “With a background in software engineering and architecture, I hope to bring to the Board a different look on time management, problem-solving, and more ways to grow the school. I also believe I can bring a tireless attitude for our school’s success. Like other parents at our school who grew up outside the U.S., I understand and will continue to stress how important a solid and well-rounded education is for our kids.”

Norm has been a big supporter of Agia Sophia Academy since the beginning through his yearly sponsorship of our Greek Open Golf Tournament and is one of the founding members of our St. Basil Society monthly donor program.
